Hi there! I'm the VoIP Architect for EMKAL Inc., where I design, build, and deploy complete custom-made VoIP solutions for client companies from the ground up. I also assist with designing and implementing Linux systems administration/dev-ops policies, as well as completing various other technical projects and deployments.
I enjoy automating and streamlining processes when possible, and I also take opportunities to introduce useful newer technologies where applicable; for example, I administer numerous Linux servers at EMKAL, so I introduced Ansible to our environment and created playbooks to assist with automating many of our processes, as well as assisted with the development of our in-house RMM solution. Furthermore, I also introduced Docker and containerization to our environment, deploying open-source and self-hostable services that are free to use, as well as using these concepts for internal development projects.
In my free time, I am usually working on (or learning with) one of my home Linux servers or a Linux VPS, using a variety of software tools such as Nginx, Wireguard, Docker, Ansible, and my own scripts to connect/automate my servers and deploy self-hosted services that my friends, family, and I use on a daily basis.
